Dragon's Dogma released in 2012 by publisher Capcom and was directed by Devil May Cry's Hideaki Itsuno. Despite selling over 8 million copies to date, Dragon's Dogma is hardly the talk of the town and it's no wonder it took 12 years for its sequel Dragon's Dogma 2 to materialize. But no one should overlook Dragon's Dogma: it's one of the most tactile RPGs you'll ever play, full of immersive details and skewing towards spectacular action like grappling monsters in midair to get the advantage or throwing down meteor showers on your foes. It's sometimes easy to see why the game's hardcore approach to fast travel, repetition, and difficulty can make it naturally appeal to a smaller crowd, but I'm here to tell you why you should play this game and keep playing it for years to come!
