The 1991 (straight-to-video) film Dream Machine (or 'The Dream Machine') is a comedic thriller starring the "late-great" Corey Haim (1971-2010). Barry Davis (played by Haim) is a young college man snooping for love with a saucy vixen named Robin (Brittney Lewis) - when unbeknownst to him, fate tosses some prospective hair-raising escapades along his path.
After being handed the keys / pink slip to a stunning new Porsche by a vengeful heiress looking to even the score with her adulterous husband, Davis finds himself tangled amidst an on-going labyrinth of intrigue… and conceivably, a little surprise in the trunk to unearth along the way (NO SPOILERS - I PROMISE).
Dream Machine is definitely among Corey's “more gratifying” flicks - although, his superb acting prowess and enigmatic screen presence made every movie unquestionably worth a watch.
