How to modify your drill press by adding a treadmill motor with a variable speed controller, add a digital tachometer, and a reverse switch.

UPDATE: The AC speed controller and DC bridge rectifier thing turned out to be extremely unreliable so I upgraded to an MC-60 treadmill controlled with a 500K potentiometer and that solved my reliability issue
