Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! Today, our team is called by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and County Sheriff's Department to run Code 3 for a very serious incident. There is a driver trapped in the cab of an overturned cement mixer and the Rescue Teams are having difficulty extricating the driver. For those who question why Missouri allows us to run red and blue lights and sirens, this is one of the main reasons. We have trained and worked with these crews for these types of situations. We were requested to assist in the extrication of the driver by lifting the cab and removing some of the "crush", which, thankfully, we were able to do, which gave the rescue crew enough space to finally free the driver. I did NOT video this incident because we did not believe the driver was going to survive. I am please to report that the driver was able to walk out of the hospital only a few days after this crash. We did get some pictures and video with our phones.
