The Llangollen Railway (Welsh:Rheilffordd Llangollen) is a volunteer-run heritage railway located in Denbighshire, North Wales. The line operates over part of the former Ruabon to Barmouth GWR route, closed in 1965.
Today the 10 miles (16km) long restored standard gauge line runs between Llangollen and Corwen operating daily services in the summer as well as weekends throughout the winter months, using a variety of mainly ex-GWR steam locomotives as well as several diesel locomotives and diesel multiple units.
Gauge: Standard gauge 4ft 8 ½ ins (1435 mm)
