Great Wall No. 1（Chinese: 长城一号旅游公路 ）
An excellent tourist highway that reflects the characteristics of Shanxi.
It is also a provincial tourism highway dedicated to the world's largest cultural heritage.

Pingxing Pass （Chinese: 平型关）
Also known as pingxingguan, the ancient name of Bottle-shaped Walled City was given to it because the surrounding terrain is like a bottle.
Pingxing Pass is located in the easternmost part of the Great Wall in Shanxi, which is an important pass of the Great Wall.
With Hengshan Mountain standing high in the north and Wutai Mountain towering in the south, the terrain is dangerous and has been a strategic place where soldiers have fought for generations.
The construction of Pingxing Pass can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty in the sixth year of Zhengde (1511), when the Lingkou Fortress was built.
In 1545, it was rebuilt and called Pingxingguan;
In the ninth year of the Wanli reign (1581), additional brick packs were built.
Both the Ming and Qing dynasties had repaired Pingxingguan, making it a strong military defense fortress.
Now, it is a AAA level tourist area in China.
On this trip
We start from the Great Wall No.1 Tourist Highway
The starting point is located in Qingnijian Village, Datong City, Shanxi Province.
Turn into Taihang No.1 at Pingxingguan Town, and then drive into the Taihang Mountains Grand Canyon.
The final destination is Huangcaowa Waterfall in Fuping County, Hebei Province.
In the middle of winter, this 30-meter-high waterfall has turned into an ice waterfall, making it even more beautiful and spectacular.
