There are plenty of videos about http://www.Yarbo.com on YouTube, but no one has shown two of these machines working together on a larger property—until now. This is the first of several videos I’ll be making on these incredible machines, and I know a lot of people have questions about how they operate as a team.
To be clear, I’m a fan of Yarbo, but I don’t work for the company. These machines are expensive, but for people that have sizeable areas with many jobs on the go, they’re worth it.
FAQs About Running Multiple Yarbo Units
Q: Do you need two data centers to control two Yarbo machines?
No. A single data center can manage both machines autonomously. However, at the time of this filming, Yarbo requires remote configuration of the data center as an anti-theft security measure. The machines communicate using RTK GPS, the internet, HaLow, and Bluetooth.
Q: How do you control each Yarbo?
You can use the Yarbo app on your phone (manually or autonomously) or the included Bluetooth controller. Each unit is logged into separately and assigned a work area by mapping the perimeter where it will operate. In this video, I’m using the snow blower module. Q: Can two Yarbo units work together in the same area?
Not yet. Yarbo has announced a future "Fleet Mode" update that will allow multiple units to work together. Right now, each machine needs a separate, non-overlapping work area to prevent collisions.
Q: How long does the battery last in cold temperatures?
Based on my experience, each unit runs for just over 60 minutes on average. Charging takes about two hours, depending on your setup.
Q: Can you adjust the height of the snowblower to scrape the asphalt?
Yes. Both the app and the remote allow you to adjust the height, auger speed, overlap passes, chute direction, and operating speed.
Q: Can you show a Yarbo working in deeper snow?
