Lizardfolk (AKA lizard men) are a fictional humanoid species in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, having appeared in every version of the game to date.
Normally found in temperate marshes and swamps, they have populations dispersed across the entire world and come in a bewildering variety of distinct subtypes. Lizardfolk habitats are also the favored domain of the Black Dragon, and there is often some interaction between the species, even, rarely, some cross breeding.
