রহস্যে ঘেরা দ্বারবাসিনী || Dwarbasini || The mysterious place of Birbhum.

Dwarbasini is the form of goddess Durga. Her temple is situating on the bank of Dwarka river, at the village Chandrapur ,district Birbhum. Here Dwarka river is flowing twords north. Here you get a closeup of nature.Here beside the temple Dwarka river and all around the temple a lovely saal and mahua forest enriching the natural beauty. An one day fair (mela) arranges every year at makarsankranti (last day of bengali month Poush). At the night of vijaya dasami and at the night of 1st day of magh special puja and kichuri bhog arrange every year. You may get "pias" (sweet milk boiled rice) prasad or bhoga every day free at temple. People use to offer atap-rice, milk, fruits, sweets, flower etc.
