◇Scenario
Our main character is the Egyptian Goddess Bastet, who takes on the appearance of a half-human, half-cat. She seems young, but mortal conceptions of time clearly don’t apply to the divine.
Once a divine judge to punish humans, she took on the role of the pharoah’s protector, and eventually became a guardian goddess for humans against illness and spirits. As a result, she is worshipped by many zealous believers, and has her own castle for worship.
As a divine goddess, she held majesty and dignity far beyond her young appearance, but since meeting you, she seems to have turned into a bit of a tsundere, and is unusually strict with you and you alone. Probably because she needs to keep up appearances as an all-powerful, all-knowing goddess, and can’t afford for anyone to find out that she likes you. (It’s just as much of a pain in the ass as you think it is, too.)
Eventually, she decided to be honest with herself, and planned to ask for your hand in marriage. That’s when she found out that you already had a lover of your own. How could she, an almighty goddess, lose to a mere human in her feminine charm? There could be no greater insult. But, if her opponent is just a human… then Bastet needs only take you away from her.
After all… when you are a goddess, your every action is righteous and just.
