Because of their incredible sound and value for the price, I have owned several of @eastmanguitars mandolins. A while back I did a comparison video between my MD-315 and my MD-415 Blacktop, looking for input on which one I should keep, if I were to give one up to make room for the MD-615 Gold Burst that was on it's way to me at the time.
I did not see either of those instruments, although I am still contemplating selling one or both to help pay for a new (old) Yamaha guitar. But I also didn't make a video introducing the 615, and there were some comments that the last comparison video wasn't on equal terms because my go-to mandolin whereby had more wear on the strings.
So I replaced the strings on all 3 with @Stringjoy coated phosphor-bronze mediums. And the I tried to play as similarly on all three as I could manage.
