Ingredients
Butter 125 grams
Icing Sugar 75 grams
Egg 1/2
Flour 190 grams
Salt a pinch
Almond Essence 1/2 tsp
Crushes almonds 1/4 Cup
Thinly Sliced Almonds for topping 30 grams
Method
1. In a bowl, add butter and icing sugar and mix till both ingredients are well combines.
2. Beat the egg, and add 1/2 in the mixture and mix.
3. Add pinch of salt & almond essence and mix well.
4. Pass the flour through sieve, and add in batter. Mix with spatula or knead the dough if required.
5. Add crushed almonds and mix the dough.
6. Cover the dough cling with wrap & refrigerate for 30 mins.
7. Shape the dough in cookies and bake for 15-20 mins at 180 C.
