To crochet this easy heart doily, I used a number 5 mm crochet hook with a 4 medium weight yarn. You can switch and use number 3 light weight yarn.

Crochet Heart Doily Pattern:
Tr - stands for Treble crochet
Round 1 - Sl Kn, Ch 2 or work a magic ring. Work 8 sc into the 1st ch. Sl St to 1st sc to end.
Round 2 - Ch 4 (Stands for 1st Tr) Work 1 more Tr into the same st space, * ch 3. Work 2 Tr cluster into the next st. Repeat around from *
To end, ch 3 and sl st into the Tr st not the ch 4.
Round 3 - Sl st to get to the 1st ch 3 space. Into the 1st ch 3 space work ch 4 (stands as 1st Tr) work 1 more Tr, ch 3, and work 2 Tr cluster back into the same ch 3 space. * ch 3 and into the next ch 3 space, work 2 Tr cluster, ch 3, 2 Tr cluster all worked into the same ch 3 space. Repeat from * To end, sl st on top of the 1st Tr.
Round 4 - Sl St to get to the 1st ch 3 space, Ch 3 (stands as 1st dc) work 4 dc back into the same ch 3 space. *Ch 2. Into the next ch 3 space work 1 sc. Ch 2. Into the next ch 3 space, work 5 dc. Repeat from * To end, ch 2 and sl st on top of the 3rd ch.
Round 5 - Ch 3 (stands as 1st dc) work 1 more dc back into the same st. Work 1 dc into the next 3 st, work 2 dc into the last st. * Work 2 dc on top of the 1 dc from the previous round, work 1 dc into the next 3 st and 2 dc into the last st. Repeat around from * To end, sl st on top of the 3 rd ch.
Round 6 - Repeat round 5 but this time work 1 dc into the 5 st not 3. Same ending.
Round 7 - Skip 2 st and into the 3rd st, work 7 dc. Skip next st and into into the next st work 1 sc. Skip 1 st and into the next st, work 7dc. Skip the last 2 st. * Into the ch 2 space work 1 sc. Skip 2 st and into the 3rd st, work 7 dc. Skip 1 st and into the next st work 1 sc. Skip 1 st and into the next st, work 7 dc. Skip last st and repeat from * To end work last sc into the last ch 2 space and sl st into the 1st dc. f/o and weave in your yarn tails.
