Hello Shiny Crafty People and welcome back to the channel!
Tim Totten here and today I'm sharing a great first project that is also a simple but great jar opener!
You can make these in fun fabrics for everyone in your life. Don't we all need help opening jars sometimes? This easy jar gripper makes even the toughest jars simpler to open.
Here's what you need:
7" square of fabric
7" square of shelf liner / gripper fabric (I bought a roll at Dollar General for $5)
Thread
Sewing Machine
Cutting Tools
This video is 15+ minutes long because of the intro and outtro and all the talking in the middle, but I can usually make one of these in less than 6 minutes. And if you're making quite a few, you might make them even faster!
I hope you enjoy making some of these or even using this project to teach someone in your life how to sew. The techniques used in this project help with lots of other sewing challenges.
Until next time, stay crafty!!!
