Instruction for string:
Type: Single strand / twisted 4mm cotton cord

*Based on the following coaster size:
Inner circle diameter (spiral): 11cm / 4"
Outer circle (with 3 cm / 1.2" fringe): 17cm / 6.7"
Total length: ~10m / 390"
*Cut the following length of string:
1 x 140cm / 55"
5 x 80cm / 31"
For the following ropes, add 1 piece of baby cord every time you find a big gap & close it with a Double Half Hitch Knot (reduce ~5-10cm every layer of the spiral):
For example, 2nd layer of the spiral: 75cm / 30"
3rd layer: 65cm / 26"
So on & so forth..
-- OR: cut double the length of the next 'lower cord'
-- Last layer: desired fringe length * 2 + 10cm (E.g. Cut 16cm if you want 3cm fringe)
