Come along with me on my AMAZING, recent journey to the Dominican Republic where I had the opportunity of teaching art to Dominican children at a local school! I took several Melissa & Doug Scratch Art sets and taught them how to create a fun and easy tropical scene on their boards. It’s fun watching their excitement during the process. Afterward, we handed out American candy. It was a cool experience! In this video, I’ve also included a full tutorial of the scratch art project that I taught the children. And, be sure to watch until the very end where I attempt to speak Espanol. Let’s just say, I need more practice. Be sure to subscribe! This trip has inspired many more fun, future art projects. Watch for my tropical painting series coming up next 😊🌴. A special thanks to the following people for helping to arrange our fun day at the school: Altagracia Espinal (school director), Justin Romelus (teacher), Kethia, and my son (Kaden) for videoing the Dominican experience and compiling the music for my video.
