Luxor is one of the most visited places in Egypt, especially if you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of bygone times and to learn more about ancient Egypt. The most of the trips from Hurghada to Luxor start early in the morning (4:00 a.m.) and end after midnight. It’s really tiring and full of information trip. I chose to visit Luxor and Cairo within two days taking the night train between the cities.
The trip from Hurghada to Luxor was about 4 hours, which I slept through. Our guide was waiting for us in the city. He gave us a lot of information about the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. This was our first stop in Luxor. The time was flying by and I felt completely stunned by all the information. I learned and saw a lot, and I hope this video will be interesting for you, although there’s no way to fit in one video everything I’ve seen and learned.
We was done with the last temple – Luxor after dark. Because we had more time till the train, we took a walk around the city with a carriage, which was really good idea. I felt so tired after so many emotions, and the walk was very pleasant. It was time for us to board the night train to Cairo and to get some sleep. I needed it.
The next morning I was going to visit Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza. I had to have power for them.
