On this day, Muslims slaughter sheep or goats and distribute the meat among family, friends, and the needy. This custom holds a special place among the nomads of Iran and perfectly aligns with the nomadic lifestyle. This year, for Eid al-Adha, the grandma's family, who are themselves from the nomads of Iran, organized a large gathering. The nomadic men and women, with exemplary cooperation and solidarity, prepared all the necessary arrangements. A well-fed goat, selected from the nomadic herds, was slaughtered with full observance of religious rituals, and the sacrifice ceremony was conducted with great respect and magnificence. This gathering was an opportunity for family members and close friends to come together and enjoy the nomadic lifestyle. The nomadic women skillfully prepared delicious local dishes, while the nomadic men shared stories and memories of past migrations, making the night an unforgettable experience. The nomads of Iran, by preserving these customs and traditions, continually demonstrate that the nomadic lifestyle is not only a part of our past but remains vibrant and influential in our daily lives.
