When Makoto Mizuhara stumbles into some old ruins, he accidentally awakens a mysterious, beautiful woman entombed inside. Her name is Ifurita and she somehow recognizes Makoto. Ifurita uses the last of her remaining power to transport Makoto to the magnificent world of El-Hazard. But Ifurita's power also manages to capture Makoto's friend Nanami, his teacher Fujisawa and his worst enemy, Jinnai. In this strange new land, they'll must choose sides in an epic battle between the human nations and the evil insectoid Bugrom tribe!
