Gable Steveson of the United States won the gold medal in the Wrestling Men's Freestyle 125kg Final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He defeated Geno Petriashvili of Georgia, the three-time and reigning World Champion, in a thrilling 10-8 victory.
Steveson's victory was the first Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling for an American super-heavyweight since Bruce Baumgartner in 1992.
