In search of an explanation for the origin of the energy of an electrostatic field, which is nothing more than answering how such a field arises, I proposed some mechanisms considering that the work done when charging an object somehow comes to occupy the space around the charged object, being stored as energy that remains static in each position. After many failed attempts, I propose an analogy with containers of water. Following this analogy, we analyze the ionization of an atom from the energetic point of view. With the help of AI, I find a path towards the possible explanation sought.
