The current version is already the largest launch system ever flown, but future versions will be even bigger, capable of carrying hundreds into space. Here’s the kicker: SpaceX is quietly developing a massive 4.0 Starship, far larger than anything we’ve seen. How powerful could it be? Get ready—this revelation might just blow your mind! Elon Musk Revealed Next-Gen Starship TWICE Bigger than Ever… SpaceX, the aerospace pioneer founded by Elon Musk, has earned a reputation for revolutionizing the commercial rocket industry with groundbreaking reusable rocket technology. Over the years, the company has established a pattern of developing progressively larger and more capable launch vehicles. Its current flagship, the Starship, stands as the largest and most ambitious system in its lineup. The latest iteration of Starship to fly is Version 1 (V1), an engineering marvel that boasts a towering height of 121 meters in its two-stage configuration. This makes it taller than the legendary Saturn V rocket. Starship is powered by Raptor engines, which are renowned for their industry-leading thrust-to-weight ratio, cementing SpaceX’s leadership in propulsion technology. Looking ahead, SpaceX plans to test the next-generation Starship, Version 2 (V2), in 2025. With a payload capacity of 100 tons to orbit and significant upgrades, particularly in re-entry performance, V2 represents a major leap forward. Elon Musk Revealed Next-Gen Starship TWICE Bigger than Ever… One of the most notable improvements in V2 is the redesign of the forward flap system. In earlier versions and concept illustrations, the forward flaps were placed 180 degrees apart, mirroring the aft flaps. However, this configuration created stability challenges during descent, as the forward flaps generated lift that caused the vehicle’s nose to pitch upward, requiring compensatory adjustments from the aft flaps. Although Starship’s flaps can retract, parts of the forward flaps and the “static aero” component remained exposed during descent, adding drag. While this extra drag aided the heavier aft section, it was counterproductive for the forward portion of the vehicle. ---- We use images and content in accordance with the YouTube Fair Use copyright guidelines: https://www.youtube.com/intl/en/about/copyright/fair-use/ Any questions about copyright please send us via Gmail: [email protected] To be resolved, thank you.
