Come with me as we embark on the Disney Dream in Florida. We start the day at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside in a Royal Guest Room and we take the Brightline down to Fort Lauderdale. From there we board the Disney Fantasy and grab lunch on the pool deck.
We check out our stateroom, we booked a VGT or Verandah Guarantee, this means we are guaranteed a specific type of stateroom but are unable to choose the exact room, Disney chooses your room for you and we got our room about 2 weeks before sailing. We then head up to the deck for the Sailing Away Deck Party.
After that we relax in the room before heading the Golden Mickeys, and we talk about the fire happening onboard the Dream that delayed our sail away.
We finished the night by grabbing a cocktail at the Champagne Bar Pink, and then we head to our rotational dining Animators Palate which features Turtle Talk with Crush.
