On 12/2/17, Norfolk Southern train H76 made it's usual run up the Portland Secondary in Eastern PA and Western NJ with a loaded train and 4 older EMD's of SD40-2's and GP38's. With the tricky layout of the line, the train almost always ends up in full throttle as it tries to battle a 2% grade at Martins Creek, PA. Here, the train is seen heading into Martins Creek and then battling the hill as it tries to make it to the Delaware-Lackawanna interchange at Portland, PA. Turn up the speakers as you listen to these old EMDs roar.
