At 6:20PM on The 5th of September, emergency service crews from GMFRS, GMP and NWAS responded to reports of a Jet 2 Boeing 737-800 flight with the callsign G-GDFF which turned around over the Norfolk coast when its engines started to overheat. a full emergency response was sent to Manchester airport north fire station.
