Lara is the author and the original singer of this amazing song “Adagio”. Lara wrote this wonderful song in 1998. She wrote two versions of lyrics for this song: one in English and one in Italian. The music of this song is based on the famous “Adagio of Albinoni” which was in fact written by Italian composer Remo Giazotto in 1958. It was arranged into a pop song by composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian herself. Her Adagio becomes world famous. I’ve heard many good singers singing Adagio, but in my opinion Lara Fabian sings this great song way better than anyone else and for me Lara’s Adagio is unmatched.
