The Horus Heresy is the most defining event of the Warhammer 40K setting. And no character is more central to it, and more important to the setting, than the Master of Mankind, the Emperor himself.
In this video I dive deep into the man, the myth, the legend, who would become the God-Emperor of Mankind. Picking up right where part one of this series ends, we start off with the Council of Nikaea, where the foundations of the fledgling Imperium begin to see the first cracks in them. As we see Magnus the Red spurned and sorcery banned throughout the Imperium of Man.
I take you on further, into what the Emperor does at the council, and what he has to do afterwards, but the meat of the video deals with the Horus Heresy and the Imperial Webway project, as well as the Siege of Terra and the assault on Horus Lupercal's flagship, the Vengeful Spirit.
Games Workshop has recently changed some of the major lore surrounding the Emperor, with the Siege of Terra series, especially the events of the End and the Death. So we also take a look at some of the big changes, and why Games Workshop chose to make them. But if you are here for lore on the Horus Heresy you'll enjoy this video as well, as there are some tasty tidbits.

Whether you're a loyalist son of the Emperor, or a vile heretic chaos worshipper, there's sure to be something to glean from this series of lore videos. After all, the Emperor is not only the most important character in Warhammer 40K, he's also one of the most interesting characters in any Games Workshop setting.
