12/12/2023 - Emre Neftci presents on efficient sampling machines enabled by stochastic synapses. SAND2023-14755O. COINFLIPS – CO-designed Improved Neural Foundations Leveraging Inherent Physics Stochasticity – is a microelectronics co-design project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science. COINFLIPS seeks to co-design the future of probabilistic computing, from devices, circuits, and architectures to theory, algorithms, and applications. The COINFLIPS Seminar seeks to build a community of interest around probabilistic computing and codesign. We invite a distinguished speaker each month to present on themes spanning all levels of probabilistic computing.
