When the idea of an encaustic scroll first came to me, I couldn't resist trying it. This is a work in progress, and I have some ideas for wooden inserts to wrap the scroll around when everything is done, but so far this wax paper mark making experiment has been really fun and interesting!

I really enjoy these mixed media art projects as opposed to more traditional encaustic paintings. I'm not sure how to display them or share them or sell them, but they are so interesting and each new project stretches my mind in new, creative ways.
