Schumacher and Ferrari were the dominant force in Formula One... Until 2005 that is, when the FIA made some rule changes that were controversial but in a way, did what they were designed to do.
And with the McLaren MP4/20, as powerful and as fast as it was suffering from all kinds of issues, mostly the engine going pop, the Renault R25 became the car that unseated Schumacher while many still feel it should have been McLaren and Raikkonen that should have had the number 1 on the car in 2006.
