Recreating the Light and Shadow of Rembrandt with Just 8 Colors!
In this video, I challenge myself to paint a realistic portrait inspired by Rembrandt’s techniques—using only 8 specially developed Art Crayons. Discover the secrets behind capturing the subtle beauty of human skin tones and the interplay of light and shadow that brings a painting to life.
These Art Crayons, developed in collaboration with Pentel, are more than just crayons. Through layering and blending, they create depth and richness similar to oil painting. I'll share tips on how to mix colors, build contrast, and add intricate details to bring the portrait to life.
The finished piece will be displayed at my upcoming solo exhibition in Fukuoka! Come and see the details up close and experience the magic of this artwork.
