TL notes: 媚びる translates directly as flattery, but it's usually used to describe how idols would "sell" fanservice to their fans, so it's translated as such. Kenmochi really doesn't like being called an idol and has mentioned many times that he refuses to do any of such "selling", so much that he's been teased for it by many livers
