This episode has been in really high demand so here it is. Today we look at the French and American-built Turboliner trainsets that were built for higher speed intercity service in the Midwest and later the northeastern United States. Spanning a running life of 3 decades, they proved successful in the 1970s-1990s with plans to renovate and revamp the Turboliner for high speed mainline service in the early 2000s on the Amtrak Empire Corridor. That was, until a lawsuit and an A/C problem eventually brought the Turboliner's life to an unexpected end. If there are any errors in data or information, please feel free to correct any mistakes.
