Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video, I’ll walk you through a recent update we made to improve the 3D visualization 🖥️ of our electromagnetic simulator, which uses the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method in MATLAB. Previously, we used the scatter3 function to represent each meshed cell of a 3D object as a black ball ⚫. Now, we’ve replaced this with the patch function, which uses the STEP file 📂 format to display the object in 3D. Additionally, the camlight feature 💡 adds dynamic lighting, creating reflections that enhance depth perception. Although the visual improvement is significant 👀, the simulation results and the meshing process remain unchanged. The update provides clearer textures for the moving target, making the simulation more visually effective. 📧 Interested in collaborating with us?
