We started our day by visiting an old eatery of Madurai where you get the famous Idiyappam. Then we spent our full day in Madurai Tamil Nadu till evening.

Breakfast at Burma Idiyappam - We started our day by visiting the famous 50-year-old eatery of Madurai - Burma Idiyappam. We had the Idiyappam with Coconut milk & it was so delicious in taste.

Sri Murugan Swamy Temple - We traveled 8 km from Madurai & reached the Thiruparankundram at Sri Murugan Swamy Temple. The temple is situated atop a hill and is dedicated to Lord Murugan ( Lord Kartikeya )
The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandya kings during the 6th century AD and is known for its unique architecture and religious significance.
We had Darshan of Lord Murugan & Devyani Devi ji along with Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, & Lord Vishnu at the Temple.
Temple Visit Timings - 4:30 am - 12:00 pm
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Lunch at Teppakulam - After this, we had our lunch at Shri Amman Restaurant, Teppakulam. In the Lunch, we had a Special Thali of this Restaurant.
Special Meal Cost - Rs 200
Sungudi Saree Madurai - Sungudi Saree is also very famous in Madurai so, to know more about it we visited Mr Ramesh ji's house in Madurai & they explained to us in detail about the Saree & its history.
