Geoff the Chef demonstrates how to prepare and cook possibly the best crowd pleaser ever – Chicken Gyro!
This can be made for as much as you like. Just extend the recipe and method to your needs. If you don’t have a rotisserie, you can grill the chicken thighs VERY hot on your regular bbq or pan inside.
Seasoning:
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp oregano
1-2 tsp salt (adjust to your liking)
1 tsp cracked pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp coriander seed
1 tsp ground fennel seed
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp cumin
6 cloves garlic
2 tsp fresh rosemary
Tzatziki:
1 ½-2 cups Greek yoghurt
1-2 cloves garlic
1 tbs dill
1/3 long grated cucumber
Pinch salt
Cracked pepper
½ standard juice of lemon
