In a shocking incident, a 23-year-old man surrendered at the Venjarammoodu police station in Thiruvananthapuram saying that he killed six people including his family members and girlfriend.
The 23-year-old has been identified as Affan, a native of Perumala. The police confirmed five murders. Affan’s mother is in a critical condition at the medical college hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
Afan attacked his grandmother, his father’s brother and wife, his mother, his 13- year-old brother and his girlfriend.
The murders were carried out in three houses.
Affan informed police that he has consumed poison after killing his family members at three different locations. He has been shifted to the medical college hospital.
