1. St Francis Church:-
Portraying one of the beautiful architectural marvels by the Portuguese, St Francis Church is one of the ancient European churches in India. This is known for the burial site of Vasco-Da-Gama, the explorer. The magnificent interiors, wood carvings and the multi stepped pinnacles add an old charm to the place.
2. Kashi Art Cafe:- This is a beautiful art themed cafe located in Fort Kochi known for the authentic Kochi delicacies and elegant art exhibits. They feature some beautifully crafted sculptures, classic artworks and handicraft decor by the local Keralites.
3. Fort Kochi Beach:- Located in fort Kochi, Fort Kochi beach is a tranquil beach along the Arabian sea. One of the major attractions here is the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views.
4. Boat cruise in Fort Kochi Beach:- Fort Kochi beach, known amongst one of the famous Fort Kochi tourist places offers a range of adventure water sports.
5. Jew Town:-
The Jew Town is a winding street sandwiched between Mattancherry Palace and Synagogue and is an attractive destination for those of you always on the lookout for antique and quirky art pieces.
6. Mattancherry Palace :-
A small locality in Kochi, the Mattancherry has an incredibly beautiful experience to offer – the Mattancherry Palace. The double storied building looks magnificent and stunning against the backdrop of Kerala’s backwaters and deep blue skies. The sight itself is a treat to the eyes, but that is not all the place has to offer.
7. Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica:-
Constructed by the Portuguese and now considered as one of the most magnificent places to visit in Fort Kochi, the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica is one of the eight Basilicas in India. The basilica serves as the cathedral church of the Diocese of Cochin and is visited frequently by devotees of Christianity because of the same.
8. Paradesi Synagogue :-
Known for being the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth, Paradesi is one of the most interesting places to visit in Fort Kochi. The old-world charm of the place paired with pollution free environs and picturesque backdrops provides it with a serene air.
9. Chinese Fishing Nets :-
Chinese fishing nets are fixed land installations used for fishing in the sea. If you visit the beaches of Kochi at dusk and dawn, a one-of-its-kind sight will reveal itself to you. The silhouette of the nets being raised from the water against the setting sun has been the subject of many a photographer’s shots.
10. Dutch Cemetery :-
Walk a few meters down the road from the St Francis Church and you will walk into the beautiful Dutch cemetery running parallel to the golden sandy beaches and overlooking the gorgeous blue waters of the Arabian Sea. Constructed in the 18th century, it is considered as one of the oldest cemeteries in India .

- By Air: Kochi International airport is well connected with all the major cities and states and effectively manages domestic and international flights. Fort Kochi is approximately 45 kms from the Kochi International airport.
- By Train: Kochi has two famous railway junctions named The Ernakulam Junction and the Ernakulam town. Fort Kochi is 13km from Ernakulam jn and approximately 15km from Ernakulam town. You can take a taxi from the railway junction to reach your destination.
- By Road: Fort Kochi is 15km From the Ernakulam bus stand and can be reached by taking any private or public bus service.
