Pachmarhi to Kanha is a 300 km Journey. On the way to Kanha, we visited the Tourism Village of MP - Sabarvani & had local traditional food at this village.

Bada Mahadev Temple - We travelled around 12 km from Pachmarhi & visited the “Bada Mahadev” Temple. The Bada Mahadev cave of Pachmarhi is a shrine for Lord Shiva, and it houses idols of Brahma, Vishnu, and Ganesh.
The 60-foot tall cave is believed to be the place where Lord Vishnu killed Demon Bhasmasura.
Gupt Mahadev Temple - After this 200 m from Bada Mahadev Temple we visited the “Gupt Mahadev Temple”. Gupt Mahadev is a 40-foot-long cave dedicated to Lord Shiva.
It is one of the ancient cave temples in Pachmarhi and among the top attractions of Pachmarhi.
Sabarvani Village - After this on the way to we travelled around 40 km & reached at the “Tourism Village of MP - Sabarvani” for Lunch.
We received an excellent welcome in Sabarwani village by Mr Kamlesh Ji & other villagers who runs a homestay here.

Lunch Local Food - After exploring the Village we had Lunch. We had a Village-style local food at lunch & it was great & new taste for me.
Lunch Cost - Rs 300 Per Person
Overall it was a great experience to visit this village we enjoyed the food here.
Hotel in Kanha - We reached Kanha at night & we stayed here at MPT property “Baghira Jungle Resort”.
