In EP21: Daly Waters Pub to Mataranka with our Stockman Rover, join us as we continue our incredible journey through Australia’s Outback. We spent a fun night at the Daly Waters Pub, checking out their quirky ornaments, unique trinkets, and giant displays. After meeting up with Donna and chatting about our Stockman Rover, we enjoyed a refreshing swim in their new pool and a tasty evening meal of beef & barra. The next morning, we hit the road and passed by the famous Pink Panther Roadhouse before arriving at our free camp spot at the WWII Gorrie Airstrip. While free camping in the Outback, we had some fun with local wildlife, including a couple of Paper Wasps and a thirsty family of Apostlebirds. The weather was hot and windy, so we huddled under the tailgate of our Stockman Rover to stay cool. Using Starlink, Colleen stayed connected to teach and join her weekly prayer group with her sisters in England. After a long, adventurous day, we headed to Mataranka for a much-needed swim to cool off.
