So I headcanon Polites as worshipper of Aprhodite that's why she know of him :))
~~~
Did anyone notice that whenever there's Antinous during reaction, Eurylochus doesn't let Ctimene stand next to him? He got the bad vibes from the beginning and then when his true colors came to light, Eurylochus decided he's not gonna let have Antinous even a chance to do anything to his wife
~~~
Ksjajaja
Choosing videos is hard ;-;
Like
I was debating between Orange's and Zar's animatics because both are so great but I can't use both ;-;
~~~
Also the Ody at the beginning of Hold Them Down???
I swear I got jumpscared
I was not expecting him to stand so close to the bow (yes it is confirmed it's Ody in the comments in the original video)
~~~
Athena did warn Telemachus as something similar was happening in Odyssey, but here you can interpret it as either in the reaction room or Hermes gave a warning when Telemachus was with King Menelaus
~~~
Also i cant totally write insults
You can clearly see it
~~~
Penelope isn't fooling around. She is not letting her son be endangered because of a man she's in the room with. She is from Sparta after all :DD
~~~
I kinda suck at those hard topic reaction but ehhh
~~~
You can see Aprhodite in some moments where her reaction doesn't look exactly right at the moment with what is happening in musical
And that's because Love is her domain and she can 'feel' those moments where some character feel love :
I have no idea if that makes sense, but idk how to explain it better
~~~
The amount of research that goes for those videos is actually surprising
Did you know there was no prison in Ancient Greek? Maybe i missed this in history class because while the lack of it was not surprising, it's like something new that I learnt. Ancient Greek had three methods of punishment and it were fines, exile or execution. And while it had prison it was not like today. It was more like holding cells until fine was paid, the trial or execution were to come.
They put more value in punishment rather than rehabilitation like how it's done today
~~~
Telemachus and Penelope no longer accept any apologies over how long it took him to get back as it was mostly outside his control
~~~
Ah yes,
I love writing emotional scenes when I have no idea how it would even look in real life lmaooo
~~~
Did anyone notice how Odysseus says "I couldn't be happier to be called your father"? Telemachus was all time called Son Of Odysseus, but now his own dad calls himself Father of Telemachus and its like Ody gives his importance for Telemachus.
For me it's like "I couldn't be happier to have you as my son" is more of "Telemachus, Son of Odysseus, the man who left the homeland for 20 years" - a title he's been called his whole life (without the years part)
And it's another detail i love
~~~
I just can't imagine Ctimene being super happy about reunion of the royal family
I mean
She is happy for them
She is
But watching reunion of Telemachus and Odyssues she can't help but think
She could have it
She could have a child with her loved one, but he is dead
She can't get this reunion
~~~
Also yes, i think fandom is putting ICHBW too much aside
Like??
Bro how ridiculous it is for a person to love as much as Telemachus loves Odysseus a person who they don't know??
He could have died and it wouldn't impact Telemachus at all (Besides the fact that he would finally become a king)
But bro cared so much for him
I say we need more attention on this song

CUTTING THE BED FROM ITS ROOTS IS ANALOGY TO DIVORCE AND ITS A HILL I WILL DIE ON
"A symbol of our love everlasting
Do you realise what you have asked me?
The only way to move it is to cut it from its roots"
If its a symbol you want to destroy, what else could it possibly mean?
