Episode 124:19th September 2024 Hi, my name is Penelope or Pen for short! I started Chinwag three years ago to share crafting, family, fascinating facts and maybe a film or two of the outdoors and nature. All these things are very precious to me. This week I show you what I have been crafting since I saw you last; I take you on our 'there and back walk' - a walk we like to do from our house into town by the sea. We do it most days. Pete my husband has been extremely poorly over the last year. He was in hospital last December and January due to sepsis but gradually he is getting his health back and walking has helped him no end. At first it was from bench to bench then along the sea front but now we can go 'there and back' like we used to. I'm reading you 'My Story' which some of you are resonating with, experiencing similar things in your young lives. There is also the 'silly bit'! Before I decided to do Chinwag I did short films for a group of friends during lockdown and these are short clips from those chats. We like to go away for a couple of nights and we were able to go to Alfriston in Sussex and walk a little way on the South Downs. We met Alex Polizzi at her hotel 'The Star' and felt she has made a success of her renovations and were extremely comfortable and cared for during our stay. Thanks for joining me and sharing your experiences and thoughts through your wonderful comments. I love them.
