Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this episode, Ace from Delta2Alpha sits down with Randy @direct_action_combat for an in-depth conversation that goes beyond the usual war stories. While most people would focus on the adrenaline-filled experiences of Tier 1 operators, Ace takes a different approach—exploring the personal and often unseen costs. How does this life impact family dynamics? Can you maintain friendships outside of the unit? Tune in for a raw and honest discussion about the sacrifices and challenges faced by those in the most elite circles of military service. During his 21 years of Military service, Randy completed the first 5 years with the PPCLI and 16 years as an Assaulter with JTF2, within Canada’s Special Operations Forces Command. Randy was fortunate to work with some of the finest battle-tested soldiers around the world. He was employed on eight operational deployments, including stints in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Lebanon. Experiences gained through a wide spectrum of missions sets: from kill-capture missions in Afghanistan, to Close Personal Protection details for the Prime Minister of Canada. Randy is the owner and head coach at Direct Action. A company providing full spectrum combative training. Blending a mixture of skills and experiences to enhance tactical understanding and technical abilities. His humble and easy-going demeanour enables him to transfer knowledge with ease. Motivated by a thirst for learning, evolution, growth, adaptation and human connection.
