His journey begins on a train which runs on a very old railway line built by the French and which links Addis Ababa to Djibouti. In Harar, a historic city, he will find himself in the middle of the night among hyenas before continuing the journey on a line built by the Chinese, then on high plateaus located at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters. In the north of the country, near Aterow, he will meet farmers who have to shout all day to keep away baboons who steal the crops.
