The Sofia office of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) hosted the “Europe’s choices ahead of the US presidential election” a public discussion with Gideon Rachman, Chief foreign affairs columnist at the Financial Times and author of the "The Age of the Strongman", and Vessela Tcherneva, ECFR's Deputy Director. The discussion centered on how Europe should address key global challenges in light of the upcoming U.S. presidential election in November. Should Europe brace for potential disruptions while hoping for the best, or should it proactively position itself for what lies ahead, exploring how Europe can strengthen its strategic resilience in an increasingly uncertain world.
