But here’s the good news, this time we actually won’t have to wait another three years for Season 3 to release. Both Netflix and the creator of the series, Hwang Dong-hyuk have made sure of that by skipping production breaks between seasons, which means that the third and final installment is much closer than you might think. In fact there are strong rumors about the show releasing by 31st December 2025! Moreover, Hwang being the series’ executive producer, director, and writer, has promised big things for Season 3.
