In 2022, I walked from Mexico to Canada. I filmed every mile along the way.
This video represents only my hike, no two people will every hike the same trail.
I was not a purist - I wanted a continuous footpath, but I took many alternates, some very popular, others not so much. I had to go around the Lionshead fire closure in Oregon (miles 2028-2088), but it reopened while I was in Washington, so after tagging the border, I went back and filled in the missing miles going sobo. When editing this video, I put them in Oregon where they belong, to give a better idea of what hiking the trail continuously would look like.
Due to reroutes and closures, the mile numbers reflect only what the trail looked like in 2022. (The halfway marker is not at the halfway point, having been installed before a reroute due to fire a few years before I hiked.)
