In this video I discuss my likes and dislikes about the 2024 Toyota Prius Prime SE PHEV. The Toyota Prius Prime was all new for 2023 and is mostly carry over for 2024. The Prius Prime is the most powerful version of the Prius yet with 220hp however is only available in FWD. Is it powered by a 13.6kWh battery pack and 2.0l 4 cylinder engine. The Prime SE is a interesting vehicle due to the way it is packaged. For this reason, I would likely opt for the middle trim XSE for a more well rounded offering but for the sub $35k price point, the SE might be a compelling option for some. The standard Prius will still offer many of the benefits of the Prime without the additional power and slightly worse efficiency (When the Prime is plugged in). If you want AWD, you will have to opt for the regular Prius and this may be a better all around option for the average buyer. Let me know your thoughts on the Prius Prime below!
