Everything You Need With Google's Nest Doorbell Battery || Unbox, Setup, Review This is a full setup, review, and unbox of the new Google Nest Doorbell (battery) smart home video doorbell from Google. I've packed everything I could into this video, including installation details, a setup walkthrough, an unbox of the Nest Doorbell, and walkthroughs of quality comparisons for the video and audio quality you're getting from this new #GoogleNest #Doorbell. This product is $179 from store.google.com and you'll be able to get it at a few other retailers. I found it at Best Buy here too: https://bit.ly/3mBEjYY (affiliate link). I don't think you're going to need any accessories for it either, and I'm not even sure if a Nest Aware subscription is needed for this one. I do go through what you get with Nest Aware with the Nest Doorbell Battery though in this video, as you'll want to know about Familiar Faces, emergency 911 calls, and some of the video history options. I think in a lot of cases, this is going to give you what you need from a video doorbell. I'm even using it as part of my smart apartment setup and I did a pretty easy installation of the video doorbell on the outside of my home. Since I didn't have to wire it in, it became a fairly easy #installation. I get package monitoring, as well as people, vehicle, animals, and even motion if I want it. The Nest Doorbell is battery or wired if I want it to be, and I think in the future I will put it wired into my home. I think in terms of quality, this is not the top of the line camera on the market, but that's coming from the intention for this to be easy to install and to be something that fits well on most homes. There are compromises that have happened here in terms of quality vs features, and I think it strikes a good balance. I especially like the fact that the Nest Doorbell works with my smart displays (not the Chromecasts yet) to display and communicate with visitors automatically when someone rings the bell. I also like the fact that its form factor sits well on my home and has become something that people will actually press!
