Former Alabama quarterback and head coach Mike Shula returned to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Oct. 12, 2024, as a South Carolina assistant coach. He declined interview requests during the week and after the 27-25 South Carolina loss. This is all we have: Shula running afterward to join his team.  it was his first time at Bryant-Denny since his 2006 team lost there to Auburn. He was fired a week later.
